‘Show Off® Sugar Baby®’ is a naturally dwarf forsythia that produces bright yellow flowers along its upright stems in early spring before the foliage emerges. Despite its small size, it provides plenty of early-season color.

Its compact habit makes it especially useful in smaller gardens, foundation plantings, low borders, and mass plantings. It can also be planted on sunny slopes where its spreading roots can help with erosion control.

Easy to grow and adaptable to a range of soils, this low-maintenance shrub tolerates urban conditions and is deer resistant. If pruning is needed, trim just after flowering to avoid removing next year’s flower buds.
