Geranium sanguineum ‘Elke’
(Cranesbill)
Soft pink flowers etched with darker rose-pink veins bloom in midsummer, creating a delicate yet eye-catching display above tidy green mounds of finely cut foliage. Compact and adaptable, ‘Elke’ works beautifully as a ground cover or edging plant, weaving easily through borders and naturalistic plantings.
Well suited to slopes, rock gardens, and woodland edges, this hardy perennial is both drought tolerant once established and resistant to deer. The blooms are also a welcome resource for bees and other pollinators.
