Geranium x ‘Anne Thomson’
‘Anne Thomson’ brings strong foliage contrast and a long season of color to sunny gardens. Golden leaves form a low, spreading clump, while masses of dark magenta flowers with nearly black centers rise above the foliage through summer.
Unlike more weaving hardy geraniums, this variety stays more clump-forming, making it useful near the front of borders, along pathways, or as a colorful groundcover. The bright foliage pairs especially well with darker-leaved perennials and ornamental grasses.
