Helenium x 'Potter's Wheel'
Dark red flowers edged in contrasting yellow. The petals are flat around around a chocolate brown cone, which fades to yellow as the flower matures. Foliage is dark green with lance shaped leaves.   Blooms late summer into fall when other flowers are beginning to fade. Makes a beautiful display when planted in mass or naturalized setting like a prairie or meadow. A fun addition to cut flower arrangement.  Attracts bees and other pollinators. Deer resistant. Full sun. 3-4', Z4-8.
