‘Double Queen’ produces fully double flowers in a varied mix of white, pink, burgundy, and yellow, often marked with freckles or soft color washes. Blooming from late winter into spring, the flowers bring early color to shaded garden areas.
Large evergreen foliage provides texture beyond the bloom season, making this compact perennial a good choice for shaded borders, woodland gardens, walkways, and naturalized plantings.
