‘Tropical Sunset’ produces single creamy yellow flowers marked with burgundy-red veining and picotee edges. The contrasting colors make each bloom especially noticeable in late winter and early spring, when few other perennials are flowering.

Its evergreen foliage adds texture beyond the bloom season, and its compact habit makes it a good choice for woodland gardens, shaded borders, and naturalized plantings.
