Hemerocallis 'Inscribed On My Heart' (Daylily) 7" wide blooms have high contrast between ivory petals and large purple eyes and margins. Edges of the petals have wide purple margins and heavy ruffling. Individual petals are long, contributing to the size of the flower. Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone). 26", Z3-9. Characteristics (Compared to Other Daylilies): Midseason Bloomer, blooming in July; Rebloomer, producing a second set of flowers; Fragrant flowers; Tetraploid- tend to be bigger, stronger plants.
