Hemerocallis 'Through A Glass Darkly' (Daylily) 5½" purple flowers have ruffled edges and a green throat. A large lavender watermark takes up more than half the bloom when fully open. Excellent bud count and rebloom. Daylilies can survive many harsh conditions that other plants cannot including: polluted city environments, slopes, poor and dry soils, near pavement that is salted in winter, and under Black Walnut trees (not affected by juglone). 32", Z3-9. Characteristics (Compared to Other Daylilies): Midseason Bloomer, blooming in July; Fragrant flowers; Tetraploid- tend to be bigger, stronger plants.
