Hosta ‘Atlantis’
‘Atlantis’ is a large, eye-catching hosta with dark green leaves edged in broad golden-yellow margins. A sport of ‘Abba Dabba Do’, it has a significantly wider margin that gives the plant a brighter, more distinctive appearance in the shade garden. The slightly rippled foliage develops its strongest yellow coloring with more light.
Pale lavender flowers rise above the foliage in midsummer. With age, ‘Atlantis’ forms an impressive, spreading specimen that works especially well in shaded borders, woodland gardens, and as a focal point among other hostas.
