Hosta ‘Ben Vernooij’
Sport of ‘First Frost’
Add cool color and changing variegation to the shade garden with ‘Ben Vernooij’. Thick, heart-shaped blue leaves are edged in wide, feathery yellow margins that gradually soften to creamy white as summer progresses.
The substantial foliage holds its shape well through the season and offers good slug resistance. In midsummer, large lavender flowers rise above the mound, adding soft color and seasonal interest.
