Hosta 'Ben Vernooij'                                                                                                                   A Medium-sized sport of 'First Frost' having incredibly thick, heart-shaped blue leaves with wide, feathery yellow edges that turn creamy white in summer. Racemes of large, fragrant lavender flowers bloom above the foliage in midsummer. Looks great throughout the entire growing season, holding color and form through frost. Good slug resistance due to the heavy substance of the leaves. 16"x 28", Z3-9.
