Hosta ‘Blue Jay’
Bring rich blue color to the shade garden with ‘Blue Jay’. This compact Hosta forms a neat, dense mound of powdery-blue, glaucous foliage with a cool, frosted appearance. Its smaller size makes it especially useful along the front of shaded borders, in rock gardens, or in containers.
Light lavender flowers rise above the foliage in late spring, adding a soft contrast to the intensely blue leaves. ‘Blue Jay’ also pairs nicely with gold, chartreuse, and variegated Hostas for a layered shade planting.
