Hosta 'Chance Encounter'

(Proven Winners® Shadowland® Collection ) Heart-shaped powdery blue leaves emerge with a wide apple-green margin that turns gold as leaves mature. 'Chance Encounter' takes its name from the rare watermark halo that appears where the center and marginal variegation meet. Modestly sized at 12-16" tall, but incredibly broad reaching over 3' across. Use this selection as a specimen along the front of the shade border. White flowers appear in early summer. 12-16"x 36-42", scape height 14-18"; Z3-9.
