‘Coast to Coast’ is a large, solid-gold hosta that adds bold color and texture to the shade garden. Its foliage emerges golden in spring and becomes lighter gold with increased sun exposure through summer. As the leaves mature, they develop a thick, puckered texture with wavy edges and nearly white undersides.

This hosta forms an upright, vase-shaped clump topped with pale violet flowers in midsummer. Its thick foliage and upright habit help make it more slug resistant, and its substantial size makes it a good choice as a specimen in the landscape or in a large container.
