Hosta ‘Echo the Sun’
‘Echo the Sun’ is a bright yellow hosta with thick, wedge-shaped leaves and strongly rippled margins that give the foliage plenty of texture. Similar in leaf shape to the blue ‘Diamond Lake’, it forms a lower, more spreading mound with vibrant golden foliage.
Compared with ‘Coast to Coast’, ‘Echo the Sun’ has a smaller habit and more pronounced rippling along the leaf edges. Lavender flowers rise above the foliage in midsummer, adding another layer of color to shaded beds and borders.
