Hosta ‘Emperor’s New Clothes’
Sport of ‘Empress Wu’
Add unusual, changing variegation to the shade garden with ‘Emperor’s New Clothes’. Leaves emerge nearly white in spring with distinctive flecking that becomes more pronounced as the season progresses, creating an evolving pattern across the foliage.
Near-white flowers rise above the mound in early summer. More compact than its parent ‘Empress Wu’, this variety still forms a substantial plant and works well as a specimen or in mixed Hosta plantings.
