Hosta ‘Fire Island’
‘Fire Island’ is a medium-sized Hosta with bright gold foliage that contrasts beautifully with deep red petioles. Red speckling extends into the base of the leaves, adding extra color and detail throughout the mound.
Lavender flowers rise above the foliage in midsummer. This vigorous-growing variety performs best in full shade and is a good choice for shade gardens, woodland borders, and mixed Hosta plantings.
