Hosta ‘Great Expectations’
Bring changing color and bold texture to the shade garden with ‘Great Expectations’. Broad, heart-shaped leaves feature wide, irregular blue-green margins surrounding centers that shift through the season—from chartreuse in spring to golden yellow, creamy yellow, and eventually white.
The amount of color change can vary depending on light levels, giving each plant a slightly different look. Its large size and strong variegation make ‘Great Expectations’ an excellent specimen or anchor for shaded borders and mixed Hosta plantings.
