The third member of this tropical-inspired family, ‘Island Breeze’ elevates the beauty of its predecessors with wider variegated margins, thicker leaves, and vigorous growth. Wide, dark green edges frame bright yellow centers in early spring, which transition to chartreuse in heavier shade or a lighter yellow in sunnier locations. Striking red-speckled petioles extend into the leaves for added drama. In midsummer, dark lavender flowers emerge on reddish-green scapes, creating a stunning contrast above the lush foliage.
