Hosta ‘On Stage’
Sport of H. montana
Add changing color and bold texture to the shade garden with ‘On Stage’. New foliage emerges pale yellow in spring, then matures to chartreuse with wide emerald green margins. Broad, heart-shaped leaves form a large, textured mound that becomes more impressive as the plant matures.
Lavender flowers rise above the foliage in midsummer. ‘On Stage’ develops its strongest color with some sunlight and may take a little time to establish, but its mature size and variegation make it an excellent specimen for shaded borders and mixed Hosta plantings.
