Winterberry Holly

Magical® Showtime is a compact, dwarf winterberry holly with dense branching and dark green summer foliage. After the leaves drop in fall, the stems are covered with bright red berries that persist into winter, providing seasonal color and a food source for songbirds.

Its smaller size makes it well suited for low hedges, foundation plantings, mixed borders, rain gardens, and other areas where a full-size winterberry may be too large. The berry-covered stems are also excellent for fresh holiday arrangements. Like other winterberries, it performs well in moist to wet soils.

For good berry production, plant a compatible male pollinator such as ‘Southern Gentleman’ nearby.
