‘Lion King’ puts on a royal show from mid June into early July with massive, fully double blooms. Crisp white petals are lavishly edged and splashed in rich purple, creating a dramatic picotee effect that nearly hides the golden yellow signal deep at the center. This majestic variety thrives in wet soil and shines along pond edges or stream banks, where its reflection doubles the spectacle. Dense, upright, deep green foliage keeps each clump looking sharp throughout the season.
