Iris pallida ‘Aureo Variegata’
(Ornamental Iris)
‘Aureo Variegata’ brings strong foliage interest to sunny gardens with upright green leaves edged in bright yellow. The variegated foliage adds structure and color from spring through fall, while softly fragrant lavender-blue flowers appear in early summer for an added layer of contrast.
Its tidy, architectural habit works well in perennial borders, rock gardens, and mixed plantings where the striped foliage can stand out among softer textures. It is slow growing, low maintenance, and performs best in well-drained soil.
