Iris pseudata 'Shiryukyo'

Iris pseudata ‘Shiryukyo’
(Hybrid Iris)

‘Shiryukyo’ brings rich color and strong vertical structure to moist garden spaces. Reddish-purple standards rise above deep purple falls marked with darker veining and bright yellow signals, creating a bold display above dense, dark green foliage.

Its tall habit makes it especially useful toward the back of rain gardens, pond edges, and moist perennial borders. This sterile pseudata hybrid combines vigorous growth with abundant buds and a longer bloom period, while staying neatly contained without self-seeding.
