An elegant Dunlop introduction from 2012, ‘A Capella’ brings refined color and detail to the late-season garden. The blooms are a rich red-violet with a soft blue overlay, while the lightly ruffled standards show rose to red-violet tones. Wide, ruffled falls are accented by small white signals and a fine white wire edge. The aqua style arms, rimmed in red, add another distinctive touch.

Blooming from mid-late to very late season, this tetraploid variety helps extend the Siberian Iris display. Its shorter height and graceful form make it especially well suited for the front of borders, where the flower details can be appreciated up close. Stems usually carry 2–3 flowers without branching.
