Iris sibirica ‘Blue Snippet’
(Siberian Iris)
A charming dwarf McEwen introduction from 1977, ‘Blue Snippet’ produces petite 3-inch flowers in violet-blue with matching violet-blue veining. Pure white signals add crisp contrast and brighten the center of each bloom.
This diploid variety blooms in midseason and stays compact, making it especially useful near the front of borders, along pathways, in smaller garden spaces, or in iris collections where a shorter Siberian Iris is needed. Its narrow, upright foliage adds fine texture after bloom.
