Iris sibirica ‘Ewen’
(Siberian Iris)
A distinctive McEwen introduction, ‘Ewen’ offers rich, warm coloring with flaring flowers and wine-red standards. Pale yellow markings and a brown blaze add detail at the center, while the slightly lighter styles soften the overall look.
This tetraploid variety blooms from early midseason into late midseason, extending the Siberian Iris display with unusual color and graceful form. Its upright, grass-like foliage adds texture and structure after bloom, making it a good choice for perennial borders, iris collections, and moist garden areas.
