Iris sibirica ‘Exuberant Encore’
(Siberian Iris)
A compact McEwen introduction from 1985, ‘Exuberant Encore’ is known for its long bloom season and strong repeat-blooming ability. Dark violet-blue 4-inch flowers feature broad 2-inch falls, with green hafts and gold signals adding warm detail at the center.
This tetraploid variety can bloom from very early into very late season, helping extend the Siberian Iris display over a long period. Excellent branching and a generous bud count create a full floral show on shorter stems, making it a good choice for the front or middle of borders.
