A soft and graceful McEwen introduction, ‘Floating Island’ features 4½-inch light yellow amoena blooms that gently fade to cream by the second day. This subtle color shift gives the flowers a delicate, changing look in the garden.

This diploid variety blooms in midseason on upright stems above narrow, grass-like foliage. Its lighter coloring pairs beautifully with blue, violet, white, and deeper purple Siberian Iris varieties, adding brightness and contrast to iris collections and mixed perennial borders.
