Iris sibirica ‘Great Falls Wine’
(Siberian Iris)
(Dean Cole R. 2008)
A dark and beautiful Siberian Iris with deep wine-colored flowers and a refined, elegant form. The rich wine petals are accented by a deep yellow signal that fades to cream, followed by a blue flash for added contrast. Ruffled falls and wide style arms with a near-black midrib give the bloom extra depth and drama.
Blooming early in the season, ‘Great Falls Wine’ makes a striking addition to iris collections, perennial borders, and mixed plantings where its rich coloring can stand out.
Siberian Iris are known for their graceful flowers, narrow grassy foliage, and dependable garden performance. They prefer consistent moisture but adapt well to average garden soil once established.
