Iris sibirica ‘Harpswell Hallelujah’

A beautiful McEwen introduction from 1983, ‘Harpswell Hallelujah’ produces large 5½-inch flowers in rich violet-blue. The blooms are especially full and rounded, with exceptionally round, ruffled 2½-inch falls that give the flowers a bold, graceful look.

This tetraploid variety blooms from early midseason into late midseason, adding strong color and refined form to the Siberian Iris display. It has also been valued as a wonderful parent in breeding.
