Iris sibirica 'Midnight Purple'
(McEwen 2005) tetraploid, late season bloom, rebloom. The flower has arching, ruffled form with diamond dusted dark violet-blue falls and standards. Style arms are tufted, ruffled violet. The overall flower effect is of a star studded midnight sky. 36", Z4-9.
NOTE: Due to the growth habits of iris, orders placed while they are in bloom, typically from late May through July, will be held until mid-September for shipping. This allows the plants to finish blooming and helps avoid shipping during the hottest days of summer.
