Iris sibirica ‘Orville Fay’
A classic Siberian iris and an important garden favorite, ‘Orville Fay’ is known as the first tetraploid Siberian iris introduced to cultivation. This award-winning variety produces large, 5½-inch flaring blooms in a rich medium violet-blue, bringing elegant color and graceful form to the garden from early through mid-late season.
Its tall, upright flower stems rise above slender, grass-like foliage that remains attractive long after bloom, adding texture and structure to borders and naturalized plantings. Reliable and hardy, it is an excellent choice for sunny beds, rain gardens, and areas with consistently moist soil.
