Iris sibirica 'Violet Joy'
(McEwen 1980) Tetraploid, 27" tall, EM-LMidseason. Best in its color class. 6" dark violet-blue ruffled flowers with almost no signal. 2 1/2" semi-flaring falls and curved, wide upright standards give handsome globe-like form.
NOTE: Due to the growth habits of iris, orders placed while they are in bloom, typically from late May through July, will be held until mid-September for shipping. This allows the plants to finish blooming and helps avoid shipping during the hottest days of summer.
