(White Blazing Star)
‘Alba’ produces upright spikes of fluffy white flowers above narrow green foliage from midsummer into late summer. The bright blooms add vertical structure to borders, cutting gardens, prairie-style plantings, and native meadows.
This low-maintenance perennial is especially effective when planted in groups. Its nectar-rich flowers attract butterflies, bees, moths, hummingbirds, and other pollinators. Once established, it tolerates occasional dry conditions and performs best in full sun with well-drained soil.
