The flowers can measure 8" across, blooming on bare branches in early to mid spring. The large, elongated green leaves unfurl following the spring bloom to clothe the tree for the rest of the season. They turn golden-yellow before dropping for winter. A mid-size tree with an upright habit. 20-25'x 15-20', Z5-9.
