‘Daybreak’ is a distinctive magnolia with large, cup-shaped pink flowers and a narrow, upright habit. The blooms are highly fragrant and appear in late spring, standing out clearly against the tree’s developing foliage.

Unlike many magnolias, ‘Daybreak’ grows with a strongly columnar form and upright, closely spaced branching, making it especially useful where garden space is limited. Its narrow profile works well as a specimen, along property lines, or incorporated into a flowering hedgerow.

Hybridized by Dr. August Kehr, ‘Daybreak’ is valued for both its unusual flower color and its naturally upright growth habit.
