Magnolia × ‘Judy Zuk’
Creamy yellow blooms • Upright pyramidal form • Early spring interest
Named in honor of a past president of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, ‘Judy Zuk’ is an exceptional yellow magnolia prized for its magnificent, tulip-like flowers. Blooming in early spring, large buds open to creamy yellow petals accented with soft hints of orange and pink. The blooms are lightly fragrant and appear before the foliage, creating a dramatic, standout display.
As the flowers fall in a gentle shower of petals, dark green leaves emerge and carry the tree through summer. Come autumn, the foliage shifts to warm bronze and copper tones, adding another season of interest. Its upright, pyramidal habit makes it an excellent specimen tree for smaller landscapes or focal plantings.
