Magnolia x 'Judy Zuk'

Magnolia x 'Judy Zuk'                                                                                                                Named for a past president of the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, 'Judy Zuk' is an excellent yellow magnolia specimen with an upright and pyramidal shape. Magnificent, slightly fragrant, tulip-like blooms appear in early spring, emerging from large buds with a creamy yellow color that stays strong through the life of the bloom, but with hints of orange and pink. Loads of blooms precede leaves and as they fall from the tree in a shower of petals, the leaves begin to emerge. The foliage is dark green, with bronze/copper fall color. 20-25'x 8-10', Z5-9.
