(False Solomon's Seal) An everchanging seasonal plant with arching stems of alternating lance-shaped leaves and sprays of fragrant springtime white flower panicles. Late in the growing season, false Solomon seal forms striking red berry clusters, not edible to people, but excellent as wildlife food. Flowers and berries are produced at the ends of the stems. Native to Maine. The fragrant flowers attract bees and other pollinators. Uses include as a woodland plant, ground cover and buffer plants along waters edge. Shade to part shade. 12-15", Z4-7.
