A compact, clump-forming bee balm selected for its glossy burgundy-purple foliage and improved disease resistance. New growth emerges in rich chocolate red to deep purple tones on matching stems, creating season-long foliage interest even before bloom.

In late spring to early summer, soft light pink flowers dotted with darker purple spotting rise above the foliage, followed by attractive deep purple to brown seed heads that persist into winter. This variety is more tolerant of heat and drier soils than many traditional Monarda and performs well in sunny borders, pollinator gardens, and containers.
