‘Blue Wonder’ forms a low, spreading mound covered with larger-than-usual lavender-blue flowers from July through September. Its long bloom season and tidy habit make it an excellent choice for edging walkways, borders, and cottage gardens. It can also be planted in a row to create an informal, low-growing hedge.
The fragrant foliage releases a pleasant scent when crushed and is especially appealing to cats. Butterflies, moths, and other pollinators frequently visit the flowers. Drought resistant once established, this dependable perennial may rebloom after trimming.
