Nyssa sylvatica ‘Green Gable’ – Black Gum
‘Green Gable’ is a narrow, upright selection of Black Gum known for its clean, glossy dark green foliage and strong pyramidal form. Upsweeping branches and a dominant central leader create a neat, structured canopy with a more formal appearance than the species.
The foliage shows good resistance to leaf spot and turns brilliant red in fall, providing a strong seasonal display. Its narrower habit makes it a good choice for landscapes where vertical structure is needed without an overly broad canopy.
