Paeonia lactiflora ‘Avalanche’
(Peony)
‘Avalanche’ is a classic peony introduced by Crousse in 1886. It produces fully double blush-white flowers with a faint pink center, while a few petals may show very narrow crimson edging for subtle contrast.
The fragrant blooms appear in the late midseason and work well in perennial borders, cottage gardens, and cutting gardens.
