‘Shirley Temple’ is a classic peony with exceptionally large, fully double flowers that open soft blush-rose and gradually fade to creamy white as they mature. The layered blooms can reach up to 8 inches across and carry a light, pleasant fragrance.
Its sturdy stems help support the large flowers in the garden and also make this variety a favorite for cutting. The changing flower color gives each plant a softly blended look as blooms open at different stages.
Long-lived and dependable, ‘Shirley Temple’ works beautifully in perennial borders, cottage gardens, and dedicated cutting gardens.
