Papaver nudicaule (Iceland Poppy) Large, delicately fragrant, saucer-shaped flowers with crinkled petals, up to 4 in. across, in mixed colors of white, yellow, orange, salmon, rose and pink. The blossoms seem to float above a small basal rosette of moss-green leaves on fuzzy, leafless stems. Iceland poppies have a longer blooming period than Oriental poppies, with blooms from April to July. Biennial or short-lived perennial. Extremely attractive to honeybees, bumblebees and other pollinators. Full sun. 12-24", Z2-7.
