(Russian Sage) Dusky purple calyxes hold lavender-blue flowers midsummer-early fall. Perfect for hot, dry climates and also exceptionally cold hardy. Expect these plants to be a little later to emerge in spring, but also to offer color well into fall. It is tolerant of drought, alkaline soil, and coastal salt spray. Attracts  bees, butterflies and other pollinators. Deer resistant. Full sun. Height: 30-36" Spread: 24-30", Zone 4-9.
