Phlox subulata ‘Spring Late White’
(Creeping Phlox)
‘Spring Late White’ extends the creeping phlox season with clean white flowers that appear in late spring, just as many earlier varieties are beginning to fade. Its dense mat of evergreen, needle-like foliage provides low-growing texture throughout the year.
The spreading habit makes it useful along sunny borders, pathways, slopes, rock gardens, and walls where it can soften edges and create a flowering groundcover. Once established, it tolerates dry conditions and performs best in full sun with well-drained soil.
The late spring blooms also provide nectar for butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinators.
