Picea abies ‘Nidiformis’ – Bird’s Nest Spruce
Bird’s Nest Spruce is a slow-growing dwarf Norway spruce with a broad, compact habit and layered branches that form a distinctive nest-like center. Its light green to gray-green needles provide year-round color and texture.
Its small size and naturally tidy form make it a good choice for foundation plantings, rock gardens, low borders, and smaller landscapes. It performs best in full sun and well-drained soil.
