(Bird's Nest Spruce) This very slow growing, dwarf form of Norway spruce has a lovely compact form perfect for foundation plantings and mixed borders. Grown for its beautiful light green or gray green foliage. The layered evergreen branches often create a nest-like appearance, hence the name Bird's Nest Spruce. Site in full sun with adequate drainage. Very hardy in colder climates but doesn't do  well in zone 8 or warmer.  1-2'. Z3-6.
