Pinus mugo var. Pumilio (Dwarf Swiss Mountain Pine)

Maturing at under 4' tall and up to 7 'wide, this true dwarf pine makes an ideal plant for the Low Maintenance landscape. Its evergreen, spreading form is ideas for a low hedge or as a single specimen to contrast colors and textures in a planting. To maintain a low profile, prune plants in June when new growth emerges but is not fully expanded. It is definitely one of our favorites where short evergreens are needed. Hardy to Z4.
