Platycodon grandiflorus ‘Pop Star™ Tri-color’
(Balloon Flower, Pop Star™ Series)
‘Pop Star™ Tri-color’ produces a mix of blue, pink, and white flowers on compact, well-branched plants. Large, balloon-shaped buds open into star-shaped blooms from early through late summer.
Its low, tidy habit makes it well suited for borders, rock gardens, containers, and the front of mixed perennial beds. Stems emerge late in spring, so marking the planting location in fall may be helpful.
